Welcome to Sequoia Autism Center
Sequoia Autism Center provides independent living skills and supports residential needs of individuals with Autism. Clients are taught skills in the natural environment to optimize Independence. All chores, community outings, meal planning, recreation and leisure activities will be centered around the individual client's interests, needs and skills. Sequoia Autism Center's policy is to ensure the safety and well being of our clients.
Services
We provide support for Independent Living Skills and residential needs of individuals with Autism.
Behavioral Services
For students to manage their needs at home and be as independent as possible.
Independent Living Services
Maintain household chores - food preparation - grocery shopping - hygiene support - Social skill support - recreation planning and support - money management - transportation training - cell phone support - time management and calendar use
Job Training
Supporting clients in their job search, resume building, job training - interview prep - professionalism support
Healthy Living Support
Food planning - grocery shopping - exercise
Transportation Training
Clients will be supported to access transportation resources so that they can access their community as independently as possible. (Public transit, scheduling rides, etc)
Program Consultation and Client Assessment
Using a person centered planning tool, support clients to set up their program plan. This helps to fulfill an objective role on a client's team that is outside of regional center funded staff.
Special Needs Trust Support
For families supporting their Son or daughter through a special needs trust. - Private funding for health check, program consultation, client assessment.

Direct Service
Independent living support staff, under the direction of the program Director, support staff will carry out program guidelines and support clients in their personal goals and support their through their daily activities.
$20–50/hour depending on experience
